Fullerton Hotel stay :)

The long awaited fullerton hotel stay is finally here!!! *courtesy of miss poon, of course* the sweeties are really a lucky bunch. instead of chalets, we stay-over in hotels and become tai-tais for the weekend. feels great to be with the girls again. no matter how busy everyone is, we'll all make our best efforts to be there. zee suggested that we do something out of the ordinary.....so here's a low down on what we did during the stay.....

checked in in the afternoon, lazed on the luxurious bed! gaped at the huge bathroom and tall ceiling! and made ourselves totally comfortable. so comfortable that mich and miss poon kept zao-geng-ing. but that was alright, we had a good laugh. :) so when everyone is gathered, we decided to be shopping queens for the day and do some shopping since it's the great sg sale season! me and huiru have been wanting to get some really nice shrugs! and zee has got one which does not look "ah-ma-ish" and is pretty nice! (but in the end, me and huiru still didn't see any we like). mich got some nice and comfortable stuff from la senza though. I was quite amused by the fluffy pink/black thing in store.

then....steamboat buffet at joaqium restaurant! ate all we can... and in the midst of our dinner....guess who arrived into the suntec convention centre?? Senior Minister GOH CHOK TONG! and his entourage. other VIPs and all the hunky chunky bodyguards. (think huiru associates them with dogs) so the out of the ordinary thing would be to stand up and applause when SM goh walked by or salute him or something... heh, but we didn't. But we did ate quite alot during the buffet. esp the cakes! and desserts! sweeties all have sweet tooth.

the conversation during dinner was wedding wedding wedding. and wedding themes. miss poon happily said that her wedding song would be the thong song since it's her fav song at the moment. *raise eyebrow* and we talked about what are the things to look out for during weddings and how we will all be the bridesmaid and tekan the bride groom and how everything should be planned perfectly since it is going to be once-in-a-lifetime thing and sometime amidst all the discussion, we got a bit teary eyed. i think we will definitely need water proof mascara on the wedding night.

and we went to the games place again!! and pictionary gets even more hilarious everytime we played it. yun drew an animal who somehow resembled a cross between a cattle and some worm or something and we still managed to guess that she was drawing a bull! and she drew something like a dome and zee could tell that it was an igloo and zee drew some stick man with long neck and yun could tell it was the hunch back of notre dome!! amazing how brain waves connect. we should really have kept our drawings. and tried another game huiru introduced too... TABOO! hah this one also very funny. esp for the verbs. and yun was hilarious as she improvise and came up with actions and sounds that just made us laugh and laugh and laugh.

the next morning, went swimming in the pool. *mich, pls upload the photos!* i realise i can hardly swim without my goggles and i kinda swam in a zig zag fashion, from one corner of the pool to the diagonally opposite corner. sheesh. well, we've decided that the next gathering would be cycling/blading at east coast! and dinner at the east coast hawker centre with its great food!

til then!
