A sweet October @ Fullerton

So I'm invited! =)

Time really flies, still remember one year ago when me and maegan were having lunch at coffeeclub the day after mike proposed to her while they were cable-car dining (though me and chingwei nvr understood how romantic or nice the food can be -- the cable cars seriously need to be refurbished).

so, it's been a year of preparing for the wedding, sharing ideas about every aspect of the BIG day. Learnt how to choose good diamonds (the 4Cs: Cut, Clarity, Colour, Carat; see http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&id=channel2640010&catid=cat21083&navLevel=">) Learnt which magazines showcase the really nice gowns, headbands, wedding accessories, etc, etc. Saw really nice wedding photography. And in the midst of maegan's wedding preparation, Eva got married back in china. There is still a huge cultural gap between mainland chinese (who have turned PR) and locals.

In any case, the solemnization and the wedding went off well, a sweet and simple affair. Eva got emotional during the solemnization that she cried (good thing maegan reminded her to bring tissue). The flower girl is really cute! her name is chloe, one of my favourite girly name. =) Dinner was niceeee.... didn't know eating little bit by little bit can be so filling. I think my appetite has really 'gone down'.

Peter and CJ also shared stories of how their wedding and honeymoon was like, how they are always irritated by singaporeans who talk while people were onstage giving their speech and who leave even before the dessert was served. Typical singaporeans, they say. THEN, cj said they once attended a wedding where they took 12 wine glasses home (the glases had the couple's names printed on them and were supposed to be the thank-you gifts but other guests did not realise that). And cj took 3 of the thank-you gifts home tonight, 1 for dash, 1 for chase and 1 for their maid. following which, i also took 3 home, 1 for my bro (a Vespa) and 2 for myself. Muahahahaa... typical singaporean, you say??

after knowing that mr goh is coming to pick me up, they stayed a while longer to finally meet with the man himself. peter said mr goh looks scruffy (cos he was wearing a Levis t-shirt with berms and Y-slippers). "Either one of you is overdressed, and I'm not sure who." Hurrr. and then, cj commented that mr goh looks like he's 13, but added that that's ok....cos i look 12. =_= and finally concluded that we look compatible. Heeee. i'm taking that in a positive light.

here's a mini slideshow of the ringdings tonight. pictures taken in the ballroom are rather dark cos I didn't want the guests to see my flash flashing at all the food... paisay ah! And, inspired by maegan's wedding pictures, i made mr goh practise some wedding poses with me. we probably tried more than 30 times to get one nice shot (though not as nice as i thought). but yeah, practice should make perfect hor?

I name this slideshow.... Love is in the air!
